I could be wrong, but I don't think the housemates have been allowed to wear watches in previous series of BB.

They didn't even have a clock at all to start with in BB2 - I remember Dean making a crude sundial in the garden so they would have some idea of what time it was!

The only series they have had a time thing was BB1 and they made one in BB2 but derek wearing a watch maybe it should be brought to Big Brothers Attention

Don't forget in BB3 they introduced wrist bands to monitor heart rate and other parameters. It could be that , that you are seeing. And pretending to use one to tell the time, could just be a bit of sarcasm.

(Not that I have watched any of this - far too busy on other things here in the real world)

I don't think they have said no to watches specifically this year and it has become slightly pointless as the cooker and/or microwave have to have the time set to work.

They've had a clock on the cooker for the last few years. And I'm pretty sure BB would have noticed it by now if he wasn't supposed to have it.

Aye they have had a clock on their cooker a few years now but i've never noticed any of them in the past years wearing a watch.......Derek is any special than the rest of them is he?
