I'm extremely happy with it all. I'm glad Andrew and Signature got a look-in, but ultimately George winning was the best possible outcome for me

I am so happy right now! He soo deserved it! I actually shouted "Yes!" when they said his name. Aww, just so happy for him! He was amazing and I just know winning this is going open so many windows for him.

Escala/Faryl will benefit loads anyway. I think they'd have had an unfair advantage in winning overall. Having said that, I did expect Escala to win.

Andrew clearly picked up a massive fanbase, and well done to him. He doesn't seem to radiate star quality like George does though. I still wish George had saved his performance till tonight, but it didn't matter in the end. His determination and talent got him through! And I have always been a fan of Signature, so I'm really glad they were the runners-up.

Overall, I'm really pleased George won.

Looking around at other forums it seems that people are voting on the fact that they "don't want another singer to win" which is a shame. People should be voting on talent, rather than who won last year.

I think he deserved it. I love the remix version of Singin' in the rain too - it's #20 on iTunes, so I just downloaded it.

Really? #20? Thats really good, I understand though because if its played during shows that get massive ratings then people download it. Eg. When Hope sang Hurt from Christina Aguilera last year in the X factor(which was a bit bad singing) it went to #39 and that was a whole year after the song was released.

Kate & Gin have been signed up to appear at Crufts next year, with the doggy dancing. So good news for them

OMFG! I am SO happy!

I really really wanted him to win and he deserved it!

When they announced him as the winner I was like "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!".

Probably the only thing you could hear!

But well done to him - he really deserved it and I'm so glad a singer didn't win!

Yeh me too!

I still can't believe he did it! I'm so happy for him!

I really thought it was going to be a singer, but when they read his name out I literally screamed.

It has to be one of the best finals of anything I have ever seen!

The most watched show of 2008
The most watched episode of a talent show this century

Simon will be happy

My god! Those are amazing ratings! I wonder how much percentage George won by.

I won €18.75 on George, but I should have waited longer I bet €5 at 11/4 if I bet the fiver at 20/1 I would have won €100! But anyways,I'm far more pleased for George winning than I am about winning some money.

That's what I want to know!

I'm so happy for him and I really didn't think he was going to win after looking at the odds! But he did!

He deserves it the most out of all the acts and I'm also glad another singer didn't win!
