Bit of a random topic, but I will find it quite interesting.

Has anybody ever been to the Isle of Wight?

I'm just wondering because I live here, and I think most people don't even know it exists. Anybody who lives in Portsmouth or Southampton or anywhere around those areas would probably know about it.

Yep I've been there.
I didn't really enjoy it though.. =/ lol. It's quite beautiful though.

I think I went once when I was little, but can't remember a thing so I might as well have not gone. I don't know much about the place - didn't even know it was beautiful. It sounds interesting... I might go at one point. And throw in a visit to Guernsey while I'm at it.

I've been there 6 TIMES!!! We used to go there all the time, it was ok but I got v bored of it by the 3rd time.
Most people do know it exists.

I went there on a school trip in year 6 for about a week.
It was soo much fun, I didn't want to leave.

Yeah I can see what you mean about getting bored after a few times, and I think you're probably right about most people knowing it exists. It's probably just me.

Oooh, if you don't mind me asking where did you stay?

I went on a trip also in year 6 for a week and camped in a field, so I'm wondering whether you stayed anywhere similar.

Yeah your right, Glastonbury is no doubt much better than the Isle of Wight festival.

I've never actually been to the festival anyway, but it's just this weekend finished.

I've never been but I know a few people who live there. I'm sure I'll venture there one day.
I've seen it when I went up the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
