I have never seen the point in the match for third place, nobody wants to finish third.
Both losing semi-finalists take third place, a third place match hasn't been played since 1980

I think it's a good idea actually, just to know the top 3. If there was Turkey-Russia, Russia would have won anyway.

I would of prefer Turkey, they make big games entertaining to watch than Russia.
