Default E4 Schedules change yet again!!!

Spin-off show Big Brother’s Little Brother is to move to 6pm from Monday 7th July in a shake-up of E4’s schedules.

The show, presented by George Lamb and Zezi Ifore, will also have its running time cut to 25 minutes.

This means that the daily repeat of the previous night’s highlights show will move from 6pm to 1.20pm, with afternoon airings of the live feed being cut by 1 hour to accommodate the changes.

However, it wouldn’t be E4 if there wasn’t Friends involved - and needless to say, extra episodes of the sitcom will be broadcast daily at 6.25pm and 7.30pm.

No reason has been given for the scheduling changes.

Yes Reported as
so it does not conflict with ITV1 at 7:30PM.

So 6PM
no problem just local news on ITV.

A Big Brother spokesperson told Big Brother Direct: "BBLB is an important part of the family of Big Brother shows. Scheduling it in the best possible slot to bring it the audience it deserves is therefore a key concern, and the 6pm slot has previously worked well for programmes with a young audience like BBLB has".

If they are going to put it on at 6pm it may as well move to C4, The Simposns wouldn't be missed.

From a business point of view it would. It rates at 2m which is one of their highest rated shows daily before the news. Its not guaranteed that BBLB would beat that especially with the state its in.

Yeah The Simpsons gets the biggest ratings for C4 some days and it would be missed by C4
But sooner or later the ratings for The Simpsons are going to go down so maybe a 3month break every year would do the show good.

Trying to get it better ratings because it's gone downhill. They don't need to move the time - just get rid of the awful presenters.

They said in a Paper

ITV1 at 7:30pm is the conflict

so they had to put it at the Local ITV News time 6pm
no threat.

I think the problem is more BBC at 7.30
On a Tuesday and Thursday, up against EastEnders, the ratings are much lower.
BBLB and Corrie doesn't really have the same audience.

and it amazes me how much E4 can show friends.

Yeh I Agree
Because it continues to get ratings. If nobody watched it, they wouldn't show it.

Yes it is like BBC3
a Dead Channel.

But of course a few million
use the active button on E4 to get Live Big Brother
which is far better than
so many repeats that BBC3 shows.

It is a Dead channel BBC3.
I want my ÂŁ1 back for each month
that BBC Digital Tax bit is wrong.

why is it being cut to 25mins, wouldnt it be that about anyway, its less when i watch on 4od , its like 22 mins, so its an improvment, no? and anyway 6 is better for me apart from missing the simpsons, but its usally old ones anyway
