Default The Knives Are Out for Sophie

(Story from Ananova)

Rich side bitch about Sophie

The rich side of the house have been bitching about Sophie, following Spencer's eviction last night.

Jade, Adele and Tim agreed that they find her repetitive questions of "Alright mate?" annoying.

They went on to say they were well aware of who their first nomination would be on Monday. Alex defended Sophie at first but Adele told him that "he needs to open his eyes".

Over on the poor side, a tearful Kate criticised Sophie for saying she could empathise with her over her loss of Spencer. Referring to Lee's eviction last week, Sophie said: "Mate - I know what your going through."

But Kate later said: "*********g Sophie. How does she know what I'm going through? She had that little thing with Lee - for two weeks."

Better watch your back Sophie, mate!

A foregone conclusion I would think Lee. It seems obvious with the amount of bitching and sniggering going on behind her back, that Sophie will get the majority of nominations this week. First vote will be from Tim who has no time for her anyway...and witnessed along with Alex, Jade and Adele mocking her most nights when he was on the Rich side, and now that PJ is with them and heard and joined in the bitching last night..plus his annoyance at her for her comments about being on the Poor side as she drank wine and ate pringles infront of him last week when he was facing the second week there..I think she is guarenteed at least 5 votes...maybe 6 if Kate nominates her too... although I am not quite sure about that one!!!
I am not sure about who she will up against but my gut feeling tells me either Alex..if Kate, PJ (although I am not sure because he was fairer this week), and Sophie nominate him or...PJ if Alex, Sophie and Adele nominate him...there again Jade could get three votes too..those being from..Sophie, Jonny and PJ....who knows..THEY'LL DECIDE?

Default Last night

I've just been reading the C4 latest news and discover that the bitching about Sophie continued all night on the rich side. She seems to be their only topic of conversation. I'm not sure, either, waht she has done to deserve these verbal attacks by other housemates - they're hardly angels themselves. However Jade and Adele are the 'dominant females' (ie very bitchy) and I thnk they are trying to deflect any nominations away from themselves by establishing an 'unpopular person'. It's very nasty work. Perhaps they have forgotten our input in the later stages...

Sophie knows it was a big mistake to attach herself to one housemate "Lee" and now she is paying the price for not mingling earlier.

I am not all that keen on Sophie but I don't think she deserves all the mocking she is getting behind her back. The wolves are out and in pack mood.

They are all going to nominate her except Johnny. They are so mean.

She will probably be evicted this week.

Well we'll see about that - I'd like, personally, to see the look on the faces of Adele and JAde when she is kept in - in favour of one of their 'friends'

Alot of us on this forum aren't particularly keen on Sophie, and I along with others have called her a bit boring and a bit of a wet weekend, but the attack on her between the housemates on the Rich side, when Tim was on board and now with PJ who has come into the fold... is very nasty and totally uncalled for. It's like they have found someone to vent thier feelings out on and have gone with it hook, line and sinker. I actually feel sorry for Sophie now, and even though Jade is very entertaining and brings alot of laughter to the house, if she and Sophie are put up for eviction this week I wouldn't be at all surprised if the public voted to kick Jade out because of this particular spate of nasty behaviour from her.

After tonight's behaviour by Jade, the silly cow's out by me, then Adele. Their both starting to show their true colours now. They dont derserve 70 grand after that. All Sophie has to do now is bide her time and let the 2 of them hang themselves with the public.

I agree in a way!

Given a choice of Jade or Sophie to evict, I would definitely choose Jade.

Her cruel treatment of Sophie is totally unfair.

Saying that though, Jade isn't the only one being horrible to Sophie, so would it neccessarily stop just because Jade left?

Maybe after all, it would be kinder to Sophie to have her leave so she doesn't have to put up with it any longer?

But it isn't fair to let the bullies win - is it?? I do fear for Jade and Adele when they emerge from the house - they have no idea how the public is going to react; Adele had a taste today but does not believe it. The C4 website described the current situationas ' Lord of the flies'...

I'm hoping the comments about Adele from over the wall this afternoon will get some of the housemates think about what it could mean, and they will now watch her a bit more closely, maybe then she will get a few nominations, and then eventually enough to put her up for eviction. It will be great to watch her get the boot...BUT...I fear this will not happen and we will have to put up with her until the last four. One good thing about that prospect though however, is that she will then get the ultimate comeuppance of being voted least popular housemate by the public....I am looking forward to that day very much.

It might be a better idea to get Jade and Adele out so that people dont get the wrong idea thinking that their the hardest women in the country. As blinkingloverly say's they have no idea what the public think. Adele had a bit of a taste today when something was shouted to her.

Adele, more than anyone, has been the cause of the bitching about Sophie. I'm sure she's started every single session and then quietly sat back and let Jade take over.

I have noticed that Alex has stuck up for Sophie on many occasions.

Alex would, he's a gentleman and I'm sure that he chose Sophie last week in order to try and get to know her better.

Unfortunately, she didn't make much of an effort and I think that Adele and Jade have picked up on that, and that's why they're bitching about her now!

I agree with you Miriam..Adele has encouraged her all the way and because Jade has the louder voice the attention is taken away from her...how sly, but then we have come to expect that from her haven't we? Let's hope Alex works out just what game Adele is playing, then he won't think so highly of her and instead see her for what she is, a two-faced conniving bitch.

But then he joins in with the bitching, like a sheep. I don't think it was in an effort to get to now her he brought her over, he didn't want to live with the boys, and he doesnt like Kate.
Everyone sees him as noble, but I don't - he's bitching with Adele and Jade most of the time!

I am by no means an Alex fan but wasn't he trying to defend Sophie some of the time? I know he bitches along with Adele and Jade but most of the time I think he just goes along with it all for the laugh...well in the case of Sophie anyway. There is never any excuse to be nasty about someone, but I don't think he is quite as vicious with his comments as the girls are when they are in full swing.

He does stick up for her sometimes, I wasn't claiming he didn't, but he also seems happy to bitch along with them (not just about Sophie).
Maybe I'm just too biased against him.

Sorry Glitter_babe...I must admit I don't watch alot of when he is on screen so I am not in any position to know about all the other times, so I accept what you are saying because you would know more about what he gets up to than me (and I mean that in a nice way). I just saw some of the bitching about Sophie the other night and then a follow up in the C4 programme.
