Default Is the booing getting worse or more unlikeable housemates?

Years ago they never used to get booed but 3 out of 4 this year have involved heavy boos. Its been like that for the past few weeks, and the bigger and hated characters usually go first. People say it gets worse and worse each year, but does it, or is it the housemate selection?

Its the selection of the HMs I think. Between BB1-BB4 anyone hardly got booed. BB5 was the first series that the producers chose as unlikeable and likeable bunch of HMs.I guess it just continued like that. I predict that about 6 more people in the house right now will be booed when they come out because there are a fair amount who are likeable too.

Stupid thing is people are booing not because they hate her... but because they prefer rex. Kinda silly really, its all pantomime.

Boo'ing has become a "thing" to increase atmosphere in the crowd and theatrical aura. It's boring really, cos when a HM is booed now, it means nothing.

I think they're booing just for the sake of booing, as Lauren said.

Its getting worse but this year its been better than BB8, especially on launch
With most housemates getting booed, when a really hated housemates comes out it doesn't feel that good to see them booed. Its the same with the chanting, first time we had it was during BB7 for Grace but now we have it every week for about 5 different housemates. The chants and boos have lost their effect and even make eviction nights not as big event.

What have housemates like Mario, Belinda and Steph done so bad to get booed?

Mindless booing of which we have had getting worse each year completely ruins the atmosphere of what should be a fun show....In the old days of theatre people used to be pig ignorant enough to abuse entertainers.....Civilisation has not made much headway has it........Then you only have to hear the news to know that.......

The booing's getting worse.
I agree that it's ruining the show and it's usually not as deserved as is given.
