Tabloids are so petty & ignorant. She was smoking outside of her house, and Sean Preston wondered in while she had her back turned and he picked up her cigarettes, wondering what they were, by this time she'd gone over and taken the cigarettes off of him, however the tabloids still feel the need to criticise her, idiots.

Most people agree that the most disturbing thing about this photo is the fact that someone is invading her privacy by hiding in a tree and taking photos. In the real world that would surely be an arrestable offence?

Heat magazine is actually ran by men.

Anyway, I think it was a stupid think to (a) smoke it front of hr child and (b) leave her cigarettes in the reach of her children.

a] She was outside of her house ALONE when she started smoking, she didn't intentionally smoke in front of her children, Sean wondered in while she was smoking.

b] I don't think she'd think obsessively instantly after sparking up to think "must put cigarettes out of reach of children." She is allowed to put her box of cigarettes on a table for five minutes while she smokes.

LOADS of people smoke in front of their children. And it was in her garden, not exactly inside where its more dangerous for them. And as it was said, Sean came out the back door whilst she was looking away, so she hadn't noticed.

And I think a fair few of the reporters are women.

Not everyone smoke in front of their children, most people have some common sence. Yes, some people do it (like "brit brit") but that doesnt make it right.

I never said it was right but people do it all the time, how do you know the real situation. Are you that gullable that your going to believe "Heat magazine". Its not like britney is giving sean a puff.

I'm not a Brittany fan but I do think the media picks on her and makes her out to be some kind of monster which she's not. If the picture ha shown the child smoking the cigarettes I'd probably agree with it but for Gods sake what child doesn't pick things up to have a look at them.!!!

I have not read the article, because lets face it magazine likes 'Heat' will write anything they want. I am basing my opinion on the photo, and no matter what the situation it's not right under any circumstance to smoke in front of a child.

In the picture shes not even facing sean.. Which means he must of snuck out behind her.. Do you seriously think britney will intentionaly give her son a packet of ciggarettes when she knows theres a million press waiting to catch her every move?

While that might be true she can't be singled out for it, so many parents everywhere smoke infront of their children. At least she went outside rather than filling the room they were in with smoke!
