Thank God theres not an Irish Hm because.... - Big Brother 9 - Big Brother UK Forum - ThisisBigBrother.com
Shame ROI is not represented that often in BB. The only Irish housemate before Spiral was Ray BB4 - both of them from Dublin (yay!)

Mary BB6 was Irish was she lived and auditioned in London, she moved to London very young.
Was Anna from BB1 Northern Irish?
Nah, she was Irish. I meant in more recent BB's.

The Irish BB housemates are:
Anna, Big Brother 1, from Dublin (finished 2nd)
Brian, Big Brother 2, from County Kildare (winner)
Ray, Big Brother 4, from Dublin (finished 2nd)
Spiral, Big Brother 7, from Dublin (evicted week 10)
Keith, Celebrity Big Brother 1, from Dublin (finished 3rd)

I know, if the Irish lines were closed in BB6 Orlaith would have definitely gone in the week she was against Science!
Orlaith's from Belfast which is Northern Ireland which uses the UK voteing line.its just the Republic Of Ireland that cant vote.but Orlaith still had alot of support coming from ROI so you nerver know...
Im realy p****d off that i cant vote.
Rachel replaced a blonde Irish girl from auditions who was suposed to go in on Launch night but pulled out the day before.
According to.....
On the official website, they confirmed that a woman dropped out due to personal reasons the day before, though I think she was replaced with Jennifer, not Rachel...
On the OS fourms BB said it was male that dropped out, and hinted it was Darnell that replaced them. Pretty much confirmed on launch night LF when Darnell said "I wouldnt have got a VT, I only got told yesterday".
the real BB confirmed that an Irish girl dropped out the day before Launvh and was replaced by Rachel.

Yeah but that week she faced eviction with everyone else, the public had her as the fave to go, Vanesssa was 2nd.

So if BB had not added the twist, Makosi would have been taken out mid way through BB6.

seany and orlaith can count as irish but also british,as northern ireland is part of britain, but youll usually find ro1 would support a n.i housemate and vice versa, the irish housemates always seem to do well, when an irish housemate reachaes the final they always win or come 2nd,seany was an acception because at the end of the day he was abit of a knob wasnt he,if orlaith had stayed to the final, she would have given anthony a run for his money.but i think she would have come 2nd or 3rd

I know Orlaith and Seany aren't "Irish"... but since they're N. Irish they still got the Irish vote. In my eyes an N. Irish HM would be the same as an Irish HM, but that's just me, just because they're still from this side of the Irish Sea!

I really wish the Irish HM had gone in this year, there hasn't been a good one since Ray

I read that Jen knew what the house looked like as she was not in hiding because BB has already told her that she wouldnt get in. It was only a few hours earlier they called her up saying she is a Hm because someone dropped out(not sure if it was a male or female), it could of even been someone who came in later eg. Stuart, Sara, May or Belinda.

We can't vote because it's BBUK, and we're not in the UK.

Someone said the only irish person before Spiral was Ray... That's not true. We had Anna and that witch weirdo Mary.

Just for the record, Spiral was one of the biggest embarrassments to come from my country. What an idiot.
