Another rant from me. In a lot of threads recently some posters have been saying 'oh you must all be young' or 'you must be a teenager' if another poster has an opinion. I've been told 'You must be a teenager' more than once just because I think Luke and Bex are genuine. I really don't see what age has got to do with anything. It should not be used against a poster and their opinions. It is very patronizing and offensive,implying that just because someone is a teenager that their opinions are stupid and must be because what age they are! It shouldn't have anything with opinions and I wish people would stop bringing it up.

Yes, I've noticed this too and I recommend we just don't take what they're (one member in particular who I think we all know) saying seriously. IMO if they aren't mature enough to debate without resorting to quips about other members' age, then that just demonstrates how poor their argument is.

I hate when people say that I only like Dale and Stuart for their bodies... yeah they are hot! but my god thats not all i would like someone for, they are both really sensitive which i liked and they were both nice guys but then NO girls can only like them for being hot!

When someone tries to knock your opinion or side of the argument by introducing an outside factor of your character, i.e. your age, then their side of the argument looses its credibility.

I admit, with age comes wisdom. But opinions/ideas/thoughts shouldn't be so easily dismissed due to their age. Piece it apart for the flaws it has by itself, not the character of the author.

I agree with you. It has nothing to do with age, only maturity level.

Hell, if 25-year-olds are telling you that you're young by responding like this "HaHaHa u must b vry yung" then that shows that: A.) They did not get a proper education at school. B.)They're worse than whoever they're insulting by insulting them using internet slang and typing like a 5-year-old.

I heard that people thought I was about 5 years older than I actually was when I joined and didn't say my age, so it just goes to show you that age doesn't matter. It's maturity that matters. And in your case, you can believe in Luke and Bex however much you want, they're immature for putting you down and blaming it on your age for believing in them.

Just ignore them.

Basically if you are younger than them and you are in the right, then they may pick on your younger age and say that you are incorrect because you are too young to understand the opinons of an older and wiser member, that is total rubbish! whether you are 13 or 93 or somewhere inbetween, where I fall it makes no difference.

People are ageist and ageism should be treated as seriously as any other prejudice. it just isn't right!

You are either, too young, too old, never just a person posting their opinion (whether educated or uneducated) it shouldn't matter, but to many they will pick on that and get away with it.

You talk actual rubbish sometimes. You go on and on and on, and your in no place to discuss anyone giving opinions, as your brain capacity only seems to manage "o.O" "xD" etc.
