I felt sorry for Alex but if he has a brain he should be asking himself what have the public seen to evict Adele over jade.

It's hard to tell how much Adele is playing Alex. He is going to be hurt if it all turns out to be fake.

perhaps she will tell the truth at 10pm "perhaps"

They know the truth already, both of them. If you read the channel 4 BB3 site, or interactive TV, there was a report that Adele would think the public would see her as two faced, and Alex ventured that it could be because she has been saying she did not like Jonny whilst she has been nice to him and playing all the games.

By the way, when she was doing the Shakespearian bit, and slagging off PJ, she was describing herself perfectly!

Default Adios Adele

I much prefer aliteration

Glad I was wrong on this one, but Mort has upped my quota of doom and gloom that has to be spread.

A possible Sunday eviction of Jade may make this a pyrrhic victory

I'm a bit miffed; but not surprised.

This means that there is only one person in the house that I actually like: Alex.

He'll probably be nominated for eviction next week now he has lost his main ally.

Oldgit, my thoughts exactly. When she was quoting Othello I was saying to my-self " well my dear you are quoting what the public think of you ".
All Alex could do was praise her on her knowledge of Shakespeare.
What an idiot he is not to realise she was talking about herself.

Oh well, Adele goes she looked shocked at the booing. I was never really an Adele fan even if I do come from the same town. I didn't like the coment she made about Jonny with Devina about him looking weak because he worry's if people like him or not. If that was the only excuse it was pretty lousy, there must have been more to it than that.

Adele was in denial with her Davina interview. I didn't like the way she hesitated when Davina asked about her feelings for Alex. I think she thought about the public reaction and told Davina a little less than was true.

I agree with you, Bananarama. I don't think she has any real feelings for Alex either.

Adele just loves Adele.

I was thinking during the interview:

For pity's sake, you're out of the house, Game Over, now stop being such a hypocrite and say what you really think!

To no avail I'm afraid!

Davina looked gutted when they booed her

I would have been too

Adele would have loved it if Alison was booed or if Jonny was booed. She knew the score she knew she was plying the gane more ruthlessly than anyone else.

She'll just have to live with it

I still dont like the way Adele spoke about Jonny in her eviction interview, it was so uncalled for.
She thinks he is false but does she know him? How does she know he is not like that in his own home?
Not liking him because he is worried of public reaction is unbelievable, I have never heard of such a pathetic reason, she is just jealous because he is nicer, funnier and more popular thatn she is.
I didnt like the booing last night but I still dont like Adele - I found her false, evil, sly and in my opinion very very weak.

I was hoping that now Adele was out of the house and no longer a participant in the game show people would be treating her normally again. No such luck.

I thought she was honest and forthright in the interview and, I think, a lot of the contempt people project about her has a lot to do with the fact she does not like one of the housemates they like: Jonny.

That is the starting point for all of this: the fact that Adele was irritated in the house by Jonny.

But consider this. We are not living in the house 24 hours a day, so we do not know what Jonny is really like and we do not experience vicariously what Adele experiences.

There's a lot of criticism of Adele saying she was two-faced but, in my opinion, it is overstated.

If Adele had told Jonny what she really thought about him it could have caused arguments and increased tension within the house.

They are living in an intense environment in there, it's also a small living space, made all the smaller by the divide, and housemates can't avoid each other. If an argument happens, the two parties still wake up the next morning living in the same house together.

Adele's stoicism and the fact that she tried to be nice to people, while possibly only tolerating them, would be seen as a good character trait to have in the outside world.

Me too.

I think she was being thoughtful during the interview with Davina and possibly slightly shy - after all she was being asked about her most private feelings on live TV!

As for Jonny, I think her point is that he's rather spineless and boring. He simply doesn't seem to be capable of handling a confrontation with someone. When Sandy said he didn't like him it seemed to put him into a depression for a week. He's 29, but he acts as though he's about 11 - and all of his pathetic 'joking', he's just attention seeking!!

Why don't you get off the fence and say what you really think?

But seriously, if I was locked away from my friends and family for up to nine weeks, with no computer, and no telly, I would want someone to make me laugh, and that's what Jonny does. It sounds better to me that Sandy's "during the war" stories, endless discussions about the differences between what to me are identical forms of crap dance music, and constant moaning about hygene.

Perhaps I'm the odd one here, but surely TV programs like this are about entertainment. Brian won BB2 because he was funny. Paul and Helen became loved because we all love a true romance.

Take Jonny and Kate out of the house and what would we be left with?

When Jonny is sitting around the table chatting normally, I think he's an alright guy.

But when he starts falling around and making a fool of himself, I just think 'Clown'.

In my opinion, his humour is completely without sophistication and there is very little worse than people who think they are funny when they are, in fact, not.

Talking about Brian in the same breath as Jonny is like comparing Charlie Chaplin or Peter Sellers with Mr Blobby.

James I think that you've got it exactly.

So, Jonny needs to be voted out so that he can start his career as a truly c**p children's entertainer.

Of course this isn't going to happen this week and next week it's got to be Jade. Then it's got to be Jonny - only trouble is that'll leave Tim in for the final week - oh s**t.

I guess it's got to be Alex, Kate and () Jonny as the final three.

It was an uncomfortable evening all round. I didn't enjoy the baying and booing, and it made me even happier that i have not so far used my eviction ticket allocation!

I would have been embarassed to be part of the crowd.

However, the high point of the evening to me was the moment when Jade's unbelievable mother shouted loudly to Adele during Davina's interview. In a voice marinated by goodness knows what, and through vocal chords honed on 100 Berkeley's a day she rasped..............

"YOU'RE THE B******S!"

Classic TV moment! My son and I sprayed the unsuspecting cat with a mouthful of (soft) beverage! A televisual gem!

I can only imagine what Jackie will be like when Jade eventually steps out into the world again.

Adele was not my favourite housemate, and if I am honest I am glad that she has gone, however I really did feel sorry for her on Friday night, I wonder if the people who booed her realised how hurtful they were being, they have surely lost sight of the fact that she was taking part in a game show. I think that she tried and failed to win public opinion, but at least she was honest enough to admit that she made mistakes, and brave enought to stand by her convictions.
