BATTLING Jade Goody was said to be terrified all over again last night — as her cancer hell deepened.

The former Big Brother star was in tears after learning the disease she knew had spread from her cervix was even worse than feared.

Jade, 27, who only last week told The Sun of her renewed hope that doctors had still managed to catch the cancer in time, was left shattered.

A source said: “This is not her worst nightmare — that would be dying and leaving her children. But it comes pretty close.”

The mum of two faces a year of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy after the cancer was found to have spread to the sac around her abdominal organs.

She had been praying the chemo would only take six to nine weeks — leaving her free to care for sons Bobby, five, and Freddie, three.

The source said: “She had hoped that she would not lose all her hair.

“But now she has been told that she will definitely lose it all because the chemo will be much stronger. She’s really, really upset. Jade is really worried that she will feel so ill and weak that she won’t be able to look after the boys or do anything.”

Jade’s sons are being cared for by their dad, her ex Jeff Brazier, following an eight-hour op to remove their mother’s womb.

The reality TV star is recovering in London’s Royal Marsden Hospital.

She has been told by her consultant her cancer is now officially classed as Stage Three — meaning it has spread beyond the area surrounding the cervix.

Her chances of beating it are feared to be 50 per cent at best.

Jade had jetted out to star in India’s Big Brother when she learned she had cervical cancer.

She admitted then: “I’ve no control over this disease and I’m bloody terrified.” Jade had suffered symptoms for three years.

In 2004 she was tested for ovarian cancer and a year later for bowel cancer — getting the all-clear both times. But in 2005 she was rushed to hospital after collapsing with stomach pains. The same thing happened in 2006.

Jade dedicated her battle against the disease to her sons, but admitted: “I have to be realistic and face the possibility I might not see them grow up.”

that was awful just reading that, I hope she manages to cope through this and be prepared to face possible worse news, its scary to read of someone elses account but a million times worse when faced with it.

exactly how this made me feel, indeed reading someone elses account made me more scared and Jade is a few steps behind me, and your absolutely right, I wouldnt wish this on anyone.
