The Brookes Brothers return with yet another top shelf release on Breakbeat Kaos, whom they have been signed with exclusively with since last year. Liquid fans will rejoice for ''Tear You Down'' and ''Drifter'', both of which are stamped with the soulful trademark sound and essence that this London duo is widely known for. Soft pianos do a great job of carrying ''Tear You Down'' alongside its vocal and pads, while the big strings come in and out intermittently just enough to make you enjoy them, but not enough to over do it. This tracks rolls out nice after the second breakdown, the kind of tune you just know is prefect in the mix without before even hearing it played alongside anything. Lovin' it! |

It's Sara Cox's record of the week this week. Anyone listened to it? Any thoughts?
