Default Adverts That Were Banned in UK [MORE ADDED]

So after reading that Cactus Kid Advert has been banned after complaints, here are some more tv adverts that caused a fuss and the reason they got banned from our TV's after only brief appearances.

Xtreme Mint Refreshment - Made people feel ill

Tango -Residents in Swansea complained about the mess on the street

KFC - Bad Manners

Anti-Smoking Ad [WARNING - MAY BE OFFENSIVE] - People were very disturbed by this

Heinz - Gay Kiss

Frosties - Annoyed the hell out of everyone and the kid got death threats

Vegetarian Society - Too Sexual

Danish Bacon - Grossed People out

And here is a hilarious one from USA that was banned (thought I would end them on a funny note), but I can see why this one was banned.

Pop Rocks Sweets [CONTAINS LIGHT SEXUAL INNEUNDO] - Parents were outraged at this advert aimed at kids

I hate people who have nothing better to do than complain about adverts
This one being banned really annoyed me

The smoking one is lovely! I could never understand why that Heinz one was banned? I thought it was funny.

Have I missed something with the Frosties one?

I loved the Heinz advert!
I saw it once but never saw it again! Wondered what'd happened.

Ridiculous that they cut it.

You can't protect children from the world forever, they need to know about all these things.
but these parents are just stupid because if they watched it properly then they would get what it was about.

According to the video description:

"People in Swansea objected to this advert and so made a website with it on http://www.swansea-res.org.uk/downloa... they had this to say "We think as many people as possible should see what happened to our neighbourhood" and they objected to wht the adveet had done to their streets "

I've never seen it before. LOL @ it though - such a brilliant rip off of the Bravia advert.

exactly if it promoted questions from my daughter i wouldnt be annoyed would just mean that i can hopefully give her information so she can not judge people in the future but never once while watching it did i think that it was bad

Lol. I remember that veg one. I didn't realise it was banned though. I thought it was an on-line only ad to "sex-up" vegetables. And I always thought that Danish bacon one was brilliant.

The ads have all been on UK TV, but then been banned after complaints from viewers.

The only 2 ones i can see that could be offensive are the smoking one and the vegetarian society one

I think the frosties one was taken off air because the kid in it was getting death threats

The American one was funny what were the people who made it thinking ?
