Default The tide is turning against Kate - She walks on Friday - definite

On BBLB Dermot indicated that they had no real indication about the vote and that it seemed 50/50

Apparently on RI:SE Kate is rising in the percentage of those who want her evicted (from 25% to 31%)

On BBLB the majority of the callers wanted Kate to get the Boot and PJ to stay. PJ is an entertaining geezer. Kate is manipulative and flirting to try and stay in.

On other boards she is being described in a very negative light.

A lot of people, including some here are saying they will not vote because they do not want either to go. (in clear denial about the situation )

It looks certain now, as in odds on favourite that Kate will be evicted tomorrow

Jade will follow next week

This year will be an all men final four

A women will never ever win a UK Big Brother

We thought Kate could have done it, now that has been washed away like tears in the rain.....

I know people have said they don't want either Kate or Pj to go,i was one,However, i have voted for Pj so it's not final as yet
Dermot said he thinks the polls are 50/50 but every poll i've seen shows that Pj will be leaving tommorow but who knows we'll have to wait and see

Janette - you wag!!

According to most poll, Teletext and the bookies - PJ is 1/10 to leave on Friday. I think even PJ thinks it's him too - he doesn't seem overly concerned about it.

I think it would be a huge surprise if Kate was voted out on Friday, except for those who have taken a BSc in doom-mongering obviously.

In the 1992 General Election the opinion polls showed that Labour would win. In the end John Major lead the Conservatives to victory. The pollsters were humiliated.

Polls can be wrong, and some of the stuff written on the C4 Reach Forum, and on BBLB last night shows that there is a late surge coming against Kate like a Tsunami

Kate is walking

Well I am sure that PJ will leave tonight.

Consider this, what would channel 4 tell us if earlier in the week when Dermot said that the votes were 50/50 it was really 80/20 in favour of one of them?

They would still say 50/50

If people are made to think that it is neck and neck they are then inclined to either vote for the first time or vote again thereby generating more revenue to channel 4.

If I thought that 80% of the vote was in favour of one of them then I could be of the opinion that I would not need to vote if I wanted that housemate to stay, likewise if I wanted the housemate with only 20% to stay I could be of the opinion that my vote would not be enough to swing the balance.

Incidentally I had to reluctantly vote for PJ because I prefer Kate to stay.

Sticks, it is so funny how you can be so sure about your predictions but most of the time they are wrong.
I KNOW Kate will stay in the house tonight!!!!

The tide is turning a bit but not enough to keep PJ in the house.

People have been voting all week and PJ probably has enough votes from the start of the week to be evicted.

It'll be about 65% - 35%, I reckon.

No doubt it is all due to the dark and evil forces of the underworld moving against the gentle faerie folk who stand for all that is good and wholesome

In fact, SHOCK!! HORROR!!!!. I have conclusive proof that Kate is in league with the goblins!!!

Its Mort, (Deaths deputy who is now in charge due to Grimmy's unexplained absence)

Mort said there was not enough doom gloom and despondency around. It is quite tough being a prophet of doom, plus the anual review is coming up and Mort has been hinting at Meaner and Leaner.

That can only mean job cuts, and I do not think that there is a lot of work for a freelance prophet of doom

Nope, Sticks, you can't fool me.

There are dark forces afoot AND abroad, and you, noble warrior, are trying to dispel our fears and alleviate our despair with your normal cheerful and chipper ways!

Be of Good Cheer Comrade. I may have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I am made of sterner stuff!

Bring it on, we WILL prevail!

P.S. I am really glad PJ went, and well done Kate! It would have been better if it had been Tim, but hey ho, the options weren't there.

Davina got her facts wrong tonight BTW. She said the only time a woman had beaten a man was when Helen beat Paul. How about when she beat Josh??

I noticed that too, R.O.B., but I suppose the fact remains that Helen was the only girl to win an eviction against a man even if she did it twice.

The difference was that in BB2 we had the big romance, whereas Kate, in theory at least, is the sort of girl that gets voted off: attractive, intelligent, and has all the boys after her, much to the chagrin of girls outside.

The fact that she has overcome these odds is a testament to her personality, and, win or lose, she is one of the true stars of BB.

I really would like to see a girl win this year. I think it's about time, I was really disappointed last year when Helen didn't win. This year I wouldn't mind seeing either Jade or Kate getting the prize. I know jonnny's a good bloke, anyway let the best man or women win. It will prob be Jonny or Alex though, all you girls out there vote a women to win this time.

PJ had 81% of the votes, while Kate only had 19% of the votes.
I agree with the theory that Dermot is not going to say the real figures when one is much farther ahead because it will discourage people to bother voting.
It just shows how popular Kate is don't you think? It's not as if she went up against Jade or Tim. She went up against a person who was not hated by a majority of the viewing public.

Kate should win BB, if not I would like to see Jonny win. If either of them doesn't win, I suppose it would be interesting to see Jade win, but I think Alex would win before Jade.
