So your basically saying that Obama has sold himself better to the American people than McCain. Now it's time to vote Obama for that reason, I don't think so.

Whoever gets in, it will make no difference to the country as a whole. Whether powerful or not.
Thats not all Ive said no and...

I disagree, they'll actually have someone intelligent in there for a change for one! and the effect it will have on foreign perception of the US will be massive! This is history in the making and he represents hope to the world. Not to mention his sensible and intelligent ideas on the economy and foreign policy!
I agree that George W Bush needs replacing, he's made a real mess of things while serving office but I'm not convinced that Obama or indeed McCain are really that good. I listen to some of what they both say on Sky news and I've heard it all before and I'll hear it all again. I fail to get excited, "sorry".
Ok thats your opinion fair dues. I think hes got a lot of intelligent policies and he could change things for the better

On the news last night they were saying Palin has spent more on designer clothes for the campaign than the average American earns in 2 Years, then they had an interview with the Obama family and his wifes dress cost 30 dollars and Obama had clothes on hed had for years. they seemed just a normal cool family down to earth! Another reason to vote Obama for me

I read that in the papers yesterday... its been an estimated $91,000 spent on her hair, make up and clothes throughout the past few months.

How pathetic for Obama fans to use this as another put down to the Republican campaign.
If she wants to spend that amount of money on cloths and her look then well good on her for making the best of herself, people should concentrate on the policies rather than some stupid little thing like this

yeh I do concentrate on the policies also but I find her behaviour vulgar and I shall say so if I like! Spending that much on clothes when the country is facing the worse recession for years and the ordinary worker is paying to bail out the banks is morally repugnant! Its just another example of how dumb they are in a long list

She's not a muppet.

She has to look her best and in order to do so, an obscene amount of money has to be spent to achieve that goal.

I personally think it is money badly spent. But you know what those rich yankees are like!

Yes and not a wise decision. if you think its a good idea to spend $91 000 dollars whilst ordinary people are working their bollocks off to fix the greedy numpties mistakes then I dont have anything furthur to discuss with you. Not a smart move from the republican camp, but then there hasnt been any!

My concern is where the money has come from to fund Palins new "image" It has possibly come from campaign money, if this is so then that is just plain wrong. It shouldnt matter how much your dress cost as long as your policies and committment is strong.

Palin always uses the line "hockey mom" yet her kids played very little, I travel all over the country with my daughter for ice hockey and dont need to use it as a pitch to get a job, it doesnt appear on my CV so why is it on hers?

I respect Obama and his simple ways of seeing things, why do politicians have to over complicate things?

These Obama fans are crazy. After a poll showed McCain ahead in Florida and Ohio, the company who did this poll have received death threats

I have seen a few stories today which seem more for McCain, today is the first day in a few weeks where I believe McCain could win it but its still a big ask

I would be very VERY scared if McCain won... America would be in such a mess. Some times I wonder if he even realises how important his job actually is!

“I look at these people and can't quite believe that they exist. Are they professional actors? I wonder. Or are they simply laymen who want a lot of attention? To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. "Can I interest you in the chicken?" she asks. "Or would you prefer the platter of **** with bits of broken glass in it? To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked."

- Author David Sedaris, on undecided voters

Just looking at a few of the latest poll figures and it looks McCain is starting to close in and take over Obama in some states. If this continues it looks like it will be alot closer than everyone thinks

yeh it is morons voting for him and I have my suspicions as to why they are as there is no logical reason to be backing him, but I shall have to keep them to myself or I'll be in trouble
