My Tim's an annoying git... and he could get worse if he wins I’M A Celebrity clown Timmy Mallett’s own wife last night admitted: “He’s an annoying git.”

And long-suffering Lynda fears that if her hubby wins the show he might get even MORE irritating.

She told The Sun: “Timmy and David Van Day were sent in to stir things up.

“I know that was their mission — and Timmy certainly did, being the annoying little git he can be.

“Do I want him to win? I don’t know. Will he be worse?

The former Wacaday star, 53, has only been in the jungle a few days but has already wound up the other campmates.

He had a furious bust-up with Robert Kilroy-Silk after he cackled manically when the ex-talk host show endured the creepy-crawly horrors of a live Bushtucker Trial.

His constant hooting laugh is also driving the others mad.

Lynda and their son Billy, 16, can only sympathise.

Lynda, of Cookham, Berks, said: “Our son can’t stand it and will always tell him to shut it and stop laughing like a hyena.”

But Mallett’s missus — who wed him in 1990 — claimed she can tell her guffawing hubby is actually deeply unhappy.

She said: “Timmy didn’t look as if he was doing too well when I last saw him on the show. I thought, ‘You’re looking a bit grim there’.”

She also accused Kilroy-Silk, 66, of “bullying” her man.

And she revealed the pair developed a mutual dislike when they appeared on a courtroom reality show, which never saw the light of day.

Kilroy’s wife Jan said: “Robert is no monster. I think he will find Timmy irritating but he’s trying hard not to show it.

“It’s one thing to laugh with someone, it’s another to laugh at them. I think Timmy was doing the latter.”
