I'm really surprised Kerry won in jungle

KING of the Jungle Christopher Biggins says he is “surprised” that Kerry Katona won I’m A Celeb.

Reflecting on her triumph in 2004, Biggins, 59, tells a telly documentary tonight: “I suppose knowing all the damage stuff I know on her, I was really surprised that she won.

“But perhaps at the time I wasn’t as surprised as I am now, knowing what she’s been through.”

Giving a fascinating insight into Kerry’s life just weeks after she admitted being an alcoholic, Biggins said: “I think she’s allowed to get away with murder.

“She was very fickle. We filmed for ten hours on set for some Christmas adverts and she was only there for five, which was very frustrating.”

But he stressed that he really liked Kerry, 28, and that they had a “great chemistry on set”.

Mum-of-four Kerry — a former drug addict — recently had £15,000 worth of plastic surgery for her MTV show Whole Again, including a breast reduction and liposuction.

The ex-Atomic Kitten singer’s career plunged recently after she gave a rambling interview on ITV1’s This Morning.

She later confessed that she was an alcoholic.

At the time Kerry was amazing. Funny and a great contestant. Money and fame have just got to her and nows shes become what i like to call a rich tramp. Along with Amy Winehouse, which is a shame because she has a FANTASTIC voice. But Kerry needs to fix herself up i mean WOW! She beautiful.. with her mouth SHUT!

Kerry was totally different then 2 how she is shown now-she was very cute and innocent back then.She seemed like she had had a hard life and I think people warmed to her.I do like her but when I watched the clip of her in the This Morning interview I just thought what the heck happened to you?It's sad really!
