She cannot dance all that well, she cannot sing all that well live (that's when she does sing live). I highly doubt to she even made her own music for her first 2 albums, which were her most selling albums. Talentless?! If she's so talentless why did she get signed by Jive Records? Have you listened to some of her live performances? Go to YouTube and look at some, then you'll see she's got some real talent there.

And sweetheart, she hasn't ruined her career. A 96 to 1 jump in the Billboard 100 suggests otherwise.

Because Britney offered a lot when she was 16. She had a likeable appeal to girls around that age and had all the boys going after her looks. And she was attractive to the young girls because her innocent appeal. She still gets signed because of the fans she still has, which still astounds me.

I had tears in my eyes by the end. It was just SO strange to see THE LIVING LEGEND BRITNEY SPEARS!!1 dancing next to Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue.

I know haha I loved that bit when she walked down there. She has 100x more confidence than the SA and Bambi performances, it was great to watch. LOL at Louis' face when she strutted down there though.

Eh? Her first two albums are arguably her worst despite being her most successful. Critically, she improves on each album and she's constantly able to reinvent her sound on each one.

The thing is, we're in the 21st century. No one gives a **** about some of the people you listed anymore. They were big at their peaks, and Britney was huge at hers and yet she's still getting number 1's around the world. Ask anyone from this generation who's better, Britney or Celine - I'm sure you'll guess the answer. Music differs each generation so you can no way compare Britney to them.

She's fantastic. I think she gets a lot of stick but it takes guts for her to perform like that after all she's been through and I for one was impressed with her. She looked beautiful too.

I loved her performace, i loved it when she went to the audience behind the judges. I dont care if she mimed, she is a phenomonal preformer.
