Jade Goody breaks down in harrowing documentary as she reveals details of her cancer treatment
Quote:
Jade Goody breaks down in harrowing documentary as she reveals details of her cancer treatment She has famously lived her life in the goldfish bowl of celebrity.
But despite her life-threatening cancer diagnosis, the cameras are still rolling for reality television star Jade Goody as she is set to give her most revealing interview yet.
In newly released stills Jade, 27, lays her emotions and the effects of her treatment bare, as she is seen sobbing post-treatment, and undergoing radiotherapy treatment, while maintaining her typically chirpy front for sons Freddy and Bobby.
An emotional Jade is seen pouring out her heart in a new interview to promote her new documentary Jade, which will air on Living TV on Friday.
The former Big Brother star has had a number of shows on the channel, and decided to continue filming the show throughout her treatment.
In an interview for This Morning, to be shown on Friday's show, Jade will tell all about her roller-coaster year and her determination to survive cancer.
She said in her column for magazine New!: 'It's been hard this time and, because of my treatment, I haven't always been at my best.
'But hey - you get the real Jade!'
Jade is currently on a break from radiotherapy, but will resume gruelling chemotherapy - which could last as long as a year - in a few weeks time.
She told OK magazine: 'I had treatment every day and also a small dose of chemo every Thursday for five weeks.
'I've been left with burns on my bum, like patches of different colour on my cheeks that I have to put nappy rash cream on. It's not attractive.'
She continued: 'I was vomiting every day and having to go to the toilet. I would be standing there and all of a sudden I'd get this rush from my feet and need to be sick. I was very poorly'.
She also revealed that the treatment brought on the onset of the menopause.
But in touching scenes, the mother of two is also seen sharing precious moments with her sons Bobby, 5, and Jack, 4, keeping a smile on her face for her boys, who are not aware of the seriousness of their mother's illness.
Jade's This Morning interview will be screened on Friday. December 5. The Living TV documentary goes out on December 11.
