I've been enjoying S8 so far.

My sides split at his X Factor piss-taking tonight

I am getting a bit annoyed at his overuse of the shark that comes out of the tub on his desk to bite him, but I still find the smurf funny

Maybe the shark thing is like Brian from BB on it last series. Really annoying, turns up on all the episodes at the start and then just fades away after a few weeks. It will be gone in a few weeks anyway. And the smurf is so funny because it turns up at random moments. It was especially funny a few weeks ago when it turned up during the song at the end for a fight.

The first ep of 2009 was great

I loved the bit in which he took the piss out of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

The Many Faces of Peggy Mitchell was brilliant. Also loved the bit with the gay Indian prince when he was about to reveal to the guy that he was a prince. "That's nice".

Tonight's episode was great - my favourite parts were the chicken with the TV remote, and his Eastenders/Heston Blumenthal jokes
