I doubt it, R&B was when she was very controlled, and now she has more freedom, she's very much a lot more rockier. I think if she did, it'd kill her career.

I completely agree Darren. R&B is not all she is about. She is very unique and edgy, and she's got R&B roots as well, but that only makes her style better, more versatile. I didnt really like her debut album, just a couple of songs, but I love most of her musi after thAT
But I do agree with Fom, lately, she has become a little bit too pop.

She has become a parody of herself. Instead of people loving her new song, it's just "Here's another rocky, angsty song from pink about how **** everything is". The Funhouse album was terrible the only strong tracks being Sober, So What (which grates on you after excessive listens) and Funhouse and even any of those are nothing spectacular. The truth is she will never be as good as her Missundaztud days, because she will never be as original again.

However, I do think she can be original again. She is one of those people who are just musically gifted. Eventually she will abandon the whole pop stu, and just go back to basics.

But how can she be? She's already done R'n'B, rock and pop. So unless she becomes freakin country singer she has no chance at originaity again. However she doesn't necessarily have to be as good as those days, if she were to just pull the quality back up to the I'm Not Dead era it would be better. All in all, Funhouse just totally lacked in substance and seemed very carelessly put together.

Yeah, Funhouse was very dissapointing or me. I was expecting so much better, as fan.
But I always think whne yooure a real musician, you can reinvent yourelf. And Pink is not manufactured, she is a real talented musician. So I am hoping she will get it right soon!

I love her so much. She's like an inspiration to me, which may seem a bit over-exaggerated, but she truly is one of the best musicians out there, IMO. I'm going to see her in April! Can't wait. I agree though, about Funhouse. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I really hope she doesn't return to R'n'B. It clearly wasn't her style, and she didn't suit it. I think a dancey vibe would go well with her, if she wanted to change scene, but I'd love her any way.
