May be the twist was rubbish, but in terms of audience share at that time of night it did better than the main show.

The extra programme took a 14% share of the viewing public compared to the main high shows 13%.

To be honest I don't think the extra show was helped by the re-run of Dead Set which most Big Brother fans will have watched which only managed a 6% of the viewing public in it's slot.

The figures depend on your source. Some use an average and some give peak figures. My source puts the figure for the 9 pm show at 3.1 million.

It is awful considering a similarly lame twist in BB9 at 11pm got around 3m. And people forget back in BB1 the show was a 11pm everynight and never dipped as low at that.

I think it was mainly due to it being a lame twist that people didn't stay tuned for - viewers had already spent an hour watching a live show where nothing happened, so weren't too bothered about staying up for another.

For a show finishing at 11:40pm its not bad, its C4's fault!

Well last night got 3.3m so hopefully tonight can get the ratings in the 3.5m or over numbers.
