Last nights trick cyclists show did the usual character assassination of the HG's and came out that Alex was the most genuine. That he stuck to his principles come what may. How does this square with him being troubled for the last few weeks by Kate & Jonny ( and to a lesser extent Jade) having TOO much fun and being loud and making up games. Now that they include Alex how is this behaviour now correct in his eyes??.

He was genuinely pleased at other members of the group being evicted when Sandy & Adele was there but now he is joining in with the banter even when not drinking so he must accept the others ( & their behaviour) as OK.

How is this being genuine - and not changing tack now the finishing line is in view?.

I've finally worked out what Alex is: he is a chameleon, he gets a new best friend and takes on their personality. Be it Sandy, Adele, Tim, or now Jonny, he adds their personality to his own whiny, moaning, one.

If that's the way he is outside, then he is genuine, I suppose. I just hope that for his sake he isn't!

If Alex wins on Friday, I think we'll see the real him for the first time in two months!

I don't think he's shown his true character at all, he's either teamed up with one person and bitched about the rest, or he's played at integrating with the group and been nice to the others when he's with them.

When he's been drinking, he can either be lovely and funny, or cruel and insensitive.

Who is the real Alex????????????

I think we've seen the "real" Alex throughout.

I really like Alex, yes he can be annoyng at times, but no more than most of the others in there.

We all have good and bad points.

I am not sure that Alex is genuine, I think that he is in this game to win and if that mens siding with whoever will be his new best friend then he will do that, I am just surprised that he has been so readliy welcomed back into the fold after excluding himself while Tim was around.

I think he is being genuine 85% of the time..too many of his bad traits have come out during the show and not enough light hearted Alex, let's face it, we all moan when he goes off on one but the odd occasion he presents the real him, he's witty..playful and damn good to watch!!
