I want the ratings to fall to new lows in the last few days to make the point the show needs change

Mmmm.... they fell to new lows in both BB8 and BB9 and they didn't realise the show needed to change. What makes you think a new "new low" will make any difference?

It's been clear that the 10pm slot isn't good for the show for a long time.

Has anyone compared the figures for the previous CBB's during at the same point in the show?

Both series' were still comfortably Channel 4's consistently most watched show and both still won its slot on quite a few occasions. Thats not the case now though!

Celeb BB has always faired better in the 9pm slot (though in previous years it always did air at 9pm, so can't really be compared), but traditionally the main series did better at 10pm.

Inside BB is the best for comparing ratings:

Previous series: http://www.insidebigbrother.net/ratings/cbb.ibb
CBB6: http://www.insidebigbrother.net/ratings.ibb

Taking shows on the last Tuesday of each series we have:

CBB3: 3.5m (unusually low for the series - most nights it's 4.5m)
CBB4: 5.7m
CBB5: 4.3m

For completeness CBB1 had 6.1m for it's last (and first) Tuesday of the series, CBB2 had 4.8m (eviction show).

The current average is just 3.0m compared to well over 4m for previous series, and 3.6m for BB9:

* Series 1 (2001) - 5.2m
* Series 2 (2002) - 4.4m
* Series 3 (2005) - 4.3m
* Series 4 (2006) - 4.9m
* Series 5 (2007) - 4.6m

because it will be at the point where its rating similar to a lot of the other successful C4 shows. Even though its hit lows in the past its still been great for C4 and beating most other C4 shows

Awful ratings yet again, I would be shocked if the finale got over a 4.5million average. I never thought I would say that
