Default The Huge BB10 \"Help The Show With Idea\'s\" Thread

Post anything on here, that you think that should be done for BB10... anything from good tasks to sheduling.....

We need to help BB get back on its feet. If C4 dont promote BB10, should we all do it. A month before, spread it around by word of mouth and post on random forums and force people to watch!!!

One of the many, many things that needs updating is the advertising. I'd highlight what's wrong with advertising here, but it's easier just to reference this thread that I posted instead.

I'll come up with more later.

- Put in an actor/actress to spice the house up without getting nominated. [Someone like Makosi, even though she wasn't an actress]
- More alcohol
- Vote to save
- Bring back the speed dating and box tasks from BB6, they were proper quality.
- Bring back the loft from BB6 also.
- Put in housemates that obviously aren't trying too hard at the auditions.
- Smaller house.

Big brother needs to be big this year, and i think they have to do a lot to keep it on its feet. They need to make it a lot more organised and make the tasks harder and more entertaining! Remember back in the day when Makosi was climbing in a mud pit? That is what Big brother needs to be like again. They need to scrap the wacky weirdos and inhabit the house with normal every day people. They need to open up the evening with a huge first night twist to get everyone gripped. Live feed needs bringing back and maybe a housemate follower, so you can chose which housemate you want to watch live. The highlights shows need to be on between 9-10, as 10pm highlights show are genuinly too late for people like me, who go to bed at ten on school nights. Eviction nights need to be more fun and the audience in the crown needs to be changed to people who will applaud the housemates, not boo every single one of them. There needs to be a vote to save, so that we can get rid of the boring housemates and keep the entertaining. There should be at least 3 people up for eviction every week, to keep the suspense and mystery, rather than knowing who is going to go before the eviction even happens. All interviews should be held outside, like on the final, as it makes it funny to see how the evicted housemate reacts to the audience. The house needs to be re-done and the garden needs to be more fun. There should be a daily task, and if passed, the housemates will get alcohol.

Phew, that took me ages to write, but that is what i think should happen

From the Ofcom Code:

Quote:
Products or services in programmes

10.3 Products and services must not be promoted in programmes. This rule does not apply to programme-related material. (See Rule 10.6.)

10.4 No undue prominence may be given in any programme to a product or service.

Note:

“Undue prominence” may result from:

* the presence of, or reference to, a product or service (including company names, brand names, logos) in a programme where there is no editorial justification; or
* the manner in which a product or service (including company names, brand names, logos) appears or is referred to in a programme.

10.5 Product placement is prohibited.

Basically, when a company pays to promote their product in a television show.

For example, say a character in a TV show was going to buy a new car. A car company could pay to have the character buy their make/model of car to promote it.

A vote to save will totally save big brother, it stops the big characters going so quick and gets rid of the boring farts at the beginning. I think the difference with a vote to save will be incredible and could save the show.

I think that 16 people should enter. 13 of them has to be between 18-32. the other 3 can be whatever age, up to 60. The reason for more younger Hms is that they dont feel lonely (like Ben, he was stuck with people all over 40)... also the 16-32 demograpghic will return stronger. The young Hms have to be up for fun too... no going to bed early.

1 is told to be a mole and piss off the others, to pass the person has to get 6 or more nominations from the 15 HMs. If he fails he goes into the Hell Room for 3 days and it will be HORRIFIC!!! Soo no nomination meddling.

In Week 4, a poll on the Channel 4 website will be done for who your fave is, the 5 with the least votes will be told they have the least votes and they are only eligible to be nominated(just done in Italian BB, worked on there)... 3 of them with the mosy noms go up for nomination.... all the other weeks will be normal nominations.

Advertisng around the UK is a MUST!!
Live Feed 24/7 is a MUST!
A New Location for the house is a MUST!
No limit on alcohol is a MUST
Work along with new producers (in different countries of BB)
Move to a different channel if everything fails and is done poorly by C4

It would only work if it was three up though (which I know you put in your next post) because say we had another repeat of Sylvia v Mo, those who wanted Sylvia out would save Mo instead.

But I don't think it would work that well ... the public like kicking people out rather than keeping them in, so I think they should pick up Australia's old voting system, vote to save and evict then both fans and haters get a say
