Holly: I've got the eXit Factor

MUM-to-be Holly Willoughby has admitted she is set to quit the Xtra Factor to care for her baby.

Holly, 27, is expecting her first child in May, just weeks before filming starts.

We told how she may be forced to miss joining Cowell & Co as they travel Britain for the auditions.

But now she says she may not be back to host the ITV2 spin-off at all. Holly, wed to TV producer Dan Baldwin, said yesterday: “I don’t know if I’ll be back on The X Factor. It’s going to be shortly after the arrival, and I don’t know if I want to rush. I need to decide soon.”

She told Closer magazine: “I love being in The X Factor, but we’ve got to see if we can work it out.” If Holly goes she’ll be the third presenter to quit the spin-off show. Ben Shephard left two years ago, followed by Holly’s pal Fearne Cotton.

Holly has been a favourite of the judges — Simon Cowell even announced her pregnancy live on air last year.

An X Factor spokeswoman said: “We fully anticipate Holly’s return and in light of her pregnancy talks are ongoing.”
