Default desperately need computer help please

working to a deadline from college, printer broke so trying to email essays as attachments to friend to print out. Tried loads of times and wont go through. When I click 'send' it just says file transferred but doesnt go through. (where are files transferred to??)

Computer help says ind file attachments cant be over 16MB and the two files I need to send are 41kb and 31kb individually. Ive tried sending both in a zip file of 14kb but that wont go through either. Ive had no trouble sending attachments before - what am I doing wrong??Tks

try renaming the zip with no extension ... then send it and tell your mate to add the zip extension.

or

try uploading to one of those temporary file hosting sites and then send your mate the link. eg
"http://www.filefactory.com/upload/"
great for really big files but it could help you

anyway sounds strange ... are you trying to send anything with code... eg some email clients block javascript code in attachments for security reasons

not sure if the rename solution would work... ie if your attaching a file with js code then the windows email client will still block it ...but anyway to edit an extension of a file just rename it eg

somefile.zip .... rename to...
somefile

do it via windows file explorer...you'll get a system warning saying "oi you sure about that?" just say yeah and it's renamed.

ps option 2 was certain to get the files over to your mate
