Default Britney mimes through first concert in 5 years

Big shock! Britney is miming her way through her "comeback" concert, with the first concert taking place in New Orleans last night.

LOL... no surprises there. Good thing her fans go for the show and not her singing or she would be broke.

.....yet the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. If people actually gave a **** about her singing live, they wouldn't have paid up to 500 pounds a ticket.

I don't care what anyone says anymore. She clearly had a lot of fun up there and everyone who can actually give her some praise for her big night know it was an amazing show.

I wouldn't care. Her songs are not "singable" songs. They're all upbeat (well, most) like Womanizer for example. If she puts on a good show I'd be happy with it. Forget the singing. The music will still be playing...

Well im just happy that she looks amazing, people enjoyed it and its gotten really positive reviews, thats all that matters. There are loads of singers that have to mime, obviously you cant expect someone to do great coreograpghy and sing a fast song, they would run out of breath so easy.... i would prefer to see her mime and do a great performance, if it was a ballad, she would obviously use vocals as she has done in the past.

Aw I am happy for her anyway.

With Britney its more about the show and performance. Its what shes known for and its her comeback... she is still taking it easy.

She sings ballads live, and pre-records vocals for the uptempo songs.

thelondonpaper had a pretty negative review, slating the dancing as not really dancing, and the miming.
