Rapper Flo Rida has stunned fans by revealing his mobile phone number during a live television interview.

The star, real name Tramar Dillard, gave out his personal contact details during an appearance on CNN, insisting that he is happy for fans to call him.

"If they can go out and buy my albums, I can at least make the sacrifice to holler at the few people who call," he explained.

"A lot of times I'm busy so they'll get my voicemail. And if I can speak to them and I have time, I always text back. Because I think that's very important."

However, the 'Right Round' star admitted that "most of them hang up", saying: "They don't think it's really me."

Flo Rida's second album R.O.O.T.S was released last month.

I heard about this... is a bit crazy if you ask me, would be getting loads of random people phoning him, but he said "If they buy my albums, i want to be their friend" Fair enough... good luck trying to control the fans though lol

Even if it is a fan number, props to him trying to connect with fans, I think with the invention of Twitter a lot more celebs are getting in touch with their fans.
