I would just starting punching him and shouting, simple crazyness would frighten them enough. I have weights next to my bed, I would just smack him round the head with those. I would do the exact same thing if it was a woman (they are still trying to disrupt you and your things).

I will be crapping myself if it was in the middle of the night because ive always been scared of that ever since i was younger, it all started when i watched the Thriller vid on Michael Jackson when my dad had it on Tv, i was about 5, and i remember in my nightmare Michael coming into my room as a werewolf doing the moves.... tahts when my MJ fears started, still love his music though.

But anyways if it was during i was awake, I would tell him to F off, and grab the cue that i have underneath my bed and hit him in the legs so he falls, not in the head because it could kill someone.

"He or she can sue you if force is OTT... "

If you do use force and they call the police on you, you say these words in your statment.

I was scared. I was in fear for my life. I acted instintivley.

You should now be covered because you acted on instinct, so it was not premeditated and if you are in fear for your life then you have the right to defend yourself to the maximum force needed for you to no longer fear for your life.

That would be the defence in court, if it ever went that far.

Don't know if there has been a case like this in the uk.
