People say let the cleaners do it... thats something I say in McDonalds... let the cleaners do it. But on the streets its different, your rubbish is being blown by the wind and it too often ends up in rivers, forests, parks, in peoples gardens.

Cleaners aren't going there... I saw on the bus the other day, a round about was just full of rubbish... because cleaners don't go there, it is just a circle in the middle of a road with grass and trees.

No your not! Street cleaners aren't employed just as street cleaners, they do other jobs aswell. And its not saving the economy - they could be employed by the goverment to do other jobs - so your helping nobody

And what about the areas nobody does pick up litter? It could be there still in 1000 years time!!

Please Miss Millar - your feel good in yourself, make the world look better and save everyone money.

I do every now and then, but I do it to chewing gum instead of litter which is worse because it sticks to the ground. Sorry, sometimes bins are really quite far and the easiest option is to throw your litter on the floor. I am a bit ashamed of it though.

But i do that when people are not around. If Im in a public place, eg. when i was at the park and children were about, i would walk over to the bin and throw away my rubbish.

Nah really doesnt bother me at all. If you looked in my street, there is hardly any litter and thats because there are people employed by west lothian council to go around and pick it up. That is their only job.
