Brown yesterday went on to his No10 YouTube
to say MP's will have to clock on each day. Of Course this is over current New Labour MP's destroying Browns future. SkyNews Live with Jeff Randall Special 1 Hour show just broke the Breaking News. LibDems And Conservatives both Rejected Browns New idea of daily Clocking In. So that looks like a Waste of time. Life In The Fast Lane. |

Maybe they will Squeeze it in after the Budget Debate talk. Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg said: ""My problem is that Gordon Brown won't budge, he wants to move to this system where basically MPs will be given a cheque simply for turning up at work. "He wants to replace what at the moment is a flawed system with a system which, in my view, is even more flawed." The announcement follows a meeting of the party leaders to discuss the system of MPs' pays and perks. The Prime Minister is wedded to the idea of paying MPs to turn up and do their job," David Cameron said. "I would have a transparent allowance: no more patio heaters, no more bath plugs, certainly no pornography. That's what people want: a cleaned up system." The Prime Minister wants to scrap the second home allowance - worth £24,000 - and introduce a Parliamentary attendance payment. But both main opposition parties have rejected the idea and say they will put forward their own proposals for reform. The Conservatives propose a "Transparent Parliamentary Allowance" which cannot be used to claim for, among other things, furniture, televisions and home decoration. They also want to scrap the £10,000-a-year Communications Allowance. All from the SkyNews link Updated. |
