Default What precautions do the team do if someone who enters the house has an STI?

Do they inform the other contestants if they have an STI as they have to undergo a health check?

Actually in Big Brother 5 Belgium, Kenny has been diagnosed as HIV and they let him enter the house so it's definitely not a problem. It could even turn into an advantage for C4 like BB7 Pete and BB9 Michael.

HIV isn't strictly STI - since it can be transferred via other methods, or sent down through birth.

I'm not sure if the OP means strictly STI (i.e. caught through unprotected sex).

Most STI's are curable (except HIV and AIDS) so I am sure that they would just be treated as though they had a sore head.

its not really a problem unless they have sex in the house, if they did i believe bb would provide contraceptives.
