Default Right age to have a child?

When do you think is the 'right' age to have a child?
Is there a age? Are young mums the blight of society? Do older parents lead to 'out of touch' children?

Get explaining!

I personally want a child when I am about 30.
I think the right age changes for different people, for my sister having a child at 18 was right and its worked out great for her!

I personnaly feel late 20's/early 30's is a good age, but then each case is seperate.

You get some extremely mature teenagers, who dont want the 'party' life, and some 30/40 year olds who aren't mature or ready for kids.

That answer is simple...

when you're ready

it's not up to anyone else but YOU!

(for me 25, 27, 29.) give or take a few years!

It varies from person to person, so there's really no 'right' age.

It's the right time in your life that matters. You have to be in a stable relationship, independant and financially ok.

We were married, working and renting a house when we decided to have a child. The time was right for us.

One of my friends didn't have her first child til last year though, so she was 34. She never wanted kids when I had mine, even though she's still with the guy she was with back then.

So, it's different for everyone.

Well i dont want to have a child until my mid 30's.I want to live my life to the fullest!I think that age is best, not only because your youth will last longer but the more expeerience you have, the better parent you'll be.
I believe that people should do whatever they like as long as its not hurting anyone else but i think anyone who plans on having a baby when they're like 19/20/21 is stupid.

I think early 20s for me but then all I want is a family and children and to be a mother. I never focused on a career etc because I would rather have family.
But I agree with a lot of posts here and its when you feel ready, I dont think that there should be so many teenage pregnancies because they are not ready, not emotionally or sometimes physically.
But deep down, you will know in your own.
