Default Its not what you\'d expect..

All I can say is Big Brother will be surprising. It’s not what you expect it to be,” Phil Edgar-Jones said of the series, wit an ‘insider’ adding: “Housemates must not take everything and everyone on face value. What appears to be one thing could be another. Just because they don’t see a pool, it doesn’t mean there isn’t one lurking somewhere to be unveiled later down the line.

“There is also a rumour that one housemate will be hiding their true identity.”

Glad they are sticking to the theme!!

'It's not what you'd expect.'

What we'd expect is an entertaining series, with interesting characters, decent spin off shows and of course round the clock live feed...what we'll get is

LOL! Good one.

But it sounds like they are borrowing some ideas from secret story in France. Why not, it could be interesting.

Because the whole set up is a complete shambles now. They've even admitted they can no longer afford to make the show, but are having to do what they can because they're contractually obliged. I hard think they'll be pulling out all the stops

Cost cutting is on Channel 4's part, not Endemol's.

But the cost cutting will kill the show. As it is, C4 interfere at every turn and stop Endemol doing what is necessary to make an entertaining show. Some of the overseas BBs show you just how good Endemol are at making BB when left alone to do so.

How do you know they won't regain any freedom that they used to have especially with all the OFCOM complaints that were cleared for BB9?

I'm not saying they will, I just think its pointless to write off a series before the advertising campaign has even started and if all you've got is bad stuff to say it really makes me wonder why you're here tbh

It no longer matters how much freedom Endemol are given. Without the live feed, there could be punch ups, endless rule breaking, assorted racist incident and all manner of other stuff and we'd never know, unless C4 decide to leave that in the small amount of footage they'll release daily.

I dont know how people cannot see the huge difference no live feed is going to make.
The bottom line is, you will see a different show. A fake show. Maybe thats what they mean by its not all as it seem. BEcause the highlights wont show us whats really going on!

We still only saw what they wanted us to with live streaming ... it used to cut away all the time so you never know what happened or what got said. If you think streaming is an accurate reflection then you're deluded. Its more accurate than the highlights but not fully accurate ...

True the live feed was edited slightly too.

But just take BB9 for example and the whole fight night/Dennis spitting situation. If it wasn't for the live feed we would have got a totally different version of events; remember on C4's website they described the event as if it was nothing, until they started getting flooded with comments from people that saw key events on the live feed and they suddenly changed their story.

Without live feed we would have never heard Dennis's "They won't take me out, I'm really good friends with Sharon" (as in Sharon Powers one of the shows producers). That said a lot about that situation and because that went out, along with many other key moments, we got to see a much clearer picture than was otherwise going to be told.

I'm sure we won't know the half of it through BB10.
