Ok, Im not a fan of rock songs, but I absoloutley love "Smells like Teen Spirit".
It became really famous and is concidered to be one of the best rock songs of all time. And it made their album Nevermind, a huge sucess (the album cover of the naked baby underwater, one of the most recognisable album covers ever). But I heard that the band really grew uncomfortable with the songs sucess and decided to axe it on their concerts and they said they didnt want it to be heard on radio. But why?? Why did they have a big fear of playing the song, its what made them famous, and if a song made me famous, i would play it as much as i could. Im just a bit confused why, they wanted to become famous, but then they grew scared of the sucess. |

Check out their little Top OF The Pops protest. Nirvana are up their with Green Day for being overated like hell though. Alice In Chains were always far better in my opinion. |

I could never get into Nirvana to be honest. And yeah, Green Day and Nirvana are highly overrated.
