Default Media finally doing something about the LF

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/show...live-feed.html

Very happy about the article

C4 will start to shite themselves now, the news is spreading fast and many fans are going to switch off (as said in the article).
Well done for the fellow people who have complained, im glad NOTW cares about it.

This is a thread for people who love the LF btw

The majority of Big Brother viewers couldn't care less about the live feed. Its just a minority complaining who think they are a majority
I'm sure C4 and the producers will be happy too with this extra publicity for BB10
Its all a bit pathetic and going too far imo

... probably the 1000 who post on DS, and probably the same as those who plagued the original article moaning over it. Some people have probably signed it more than once as well. I scrolled down the page and read the odd comment, one that made me laugh was that noone watches BBLB or Big Mouth ... yet it gets four times the audience of live feed

During BB9 Im positive that BBLB, BBBM and the LF drew in the same ratings, sometimes BBLB would go as low as 200,000 and the LF would get 800,000 for big events (like Fight Night #2 in BB9).

Its all about manipulation though, i would not care if the editing wasnt so incredibly bias, the reason that they edit so much is why i care about the LF, otehrwise i wouldnt give a ****.

But this is for the people who actually care about the feed. AND I DO

Once they got rid of Zezi BBLB went up to about 0.3-0.6m and BBBM stayed around 0.3m or something. Live feed was usually about 0.1m (except overnight when its a bit more, and they've kept that)

The live feed is also quite biased/edited ... and its obvious that is going to happen if you have to edit 24 hours into 45 minutes

I know, but i was annoyed with the editing with Luke, i watched the first week of LF of BB9 and noticed Luke switching from Mario and Lisa to Steph bitching about the other to them, but in the HL they kept it all out and aired him syaing the "funny stuff"

I'm surprised so many here want LESS BB to be screened.

How about half-hour highlights? Or just 1 show a week like Shipwrecked?

The more the better. The housemates are in there 24/7 (we hope) and the cameras are running 24/7.

Its only through the livefeed you can see what the housemates are truly like.

Not having the livefeed just makes things easier for channel 4. They can edit things how they want, and not have to worry about people who watch the livefeed complaining about the editing.

For me its just not big brother without the live feed. The live feed is what makes the show unique, without it, it just becomes another reality tv show.

Channel 4 are taking the easy route, shame on them.

Not true at all. An Endemol production team insider has said that the cutback in coverage broadcast is directly due to C4. They're still producing the stuff, C4 decide whether to air it or not. Far from it costing 'millions' there's just ONE guy at a time required to change cameras and bleep stuff out.

There's plenty of other stuff Endemol are guilty of but this isn't one of them =)
