Default Bisexual confusion

Freddie (along with, erm, about 10 other housemates) has declared his bisexuality.
Its popular for people to say that everyone is bisexual. Agree?
So why do some people announce it?

And what exactly does bisexual mean?
If you kissed a member of the same sex 20 years ago does that make you bisexual?

I ask you this:

Apart from youthful experimentation and people who work in the sex industry, how many people do you know that have sex with both genders?

I've never met any. Its more of an idea than a practice.
Something to tell people to make yourself sound more interesting.

I have yet to meet a bisexual who lives up to my understanding of the word.

I know LOADS of bisexuals, just because you don't know any doesn't mean they do not exist.

I don't mean to be a screaming liberal in all of this - but does it genuinely really matter? You don't need to have had sex with both genders to be bisexual, is a virgin girl interested in men not Straight?

Maybe he just wants to keep his options, maybe he's actually pansexual, maybe he doesn't wanna label himself and wants to do what and who he wants, and uses "bisexual" for people to understand.

No one knows the % of people that are Straight, Gay, Bisexual, Pansexual, Asexual. We know Straights are a ruling majority, but in all honesty we'll never know because of the social sitgma that is related to "coming out" most people think if your Bi, that your "gay".

I am Bisexual, I like cock and fanny, I am attracted to both sexes and both turn me on if that clears up any confusion. Most assume I am straight because I go with girls alot of the time
