Tyra Banks is coming to the Upper East Side this season.

A source confirms to People that the America's Next Top Model host will be showing off her acting skills on the CW show in an episode during Gossip Girl’s upcoming third season, which returns Monday, September 14.

No word on the role to be played by Tyra Banks, who becomes the latest high-profile guest star to be announced for Season 3, following in the footsteps of singer and actress Hilary Duff, who will play a love interest for Dan.

The Duff signing was met with less than universal praise, to say the least, from some fans who think the show is better off casting newcomers than known celebrities.

Is Georgina a regular this season? I'm guessing that she is due to the season finale of S2 but it could be a reccuring role I guess.

I hope she's a permanent character. I love Michelle Tratchenberg.

Nah she isn't. Michelle's other show was brought forward to the fall, so they've had to shortern her return.

Just seen epi 1 on the recaps ITV2 are showing. really enjoyd it. Think im going to be a Dan/Serena shipper even though i know what happens(Yes I read spoilers). Liking Blake as well and also Chuck

Just saw episode 3 of series 1 today and still loving it. can see a potential Blair/Chuck relationship on the cards. Looking fotrward to the ball though next mondays episode I think. I hope they do S2 as well when S1 has finished
