Default Noirin Kelly\'s \"we were just friends\" = Ross Gellers: \"We were on a break!\"
mentioned this on another thread and thought it might get a laugh,

Noirins line "We were just friends" is beginning to remind me of the famous line Ross had in the sitcom Friends...you know, the one where he would shout "WE WERE ON A BREAAAK!!!".

thats exactly what i always say if i hear that idiot norian say the word friends again well id do noting but its very annoying she is behaving like a child get her out.

Very good comparison.

When that episode was shown, some of the audience storngly felt rachel was right, others felt that ross had a perfectly valid point.

The same has happened here.
