for some who seems quite observant and socially aware, why is he so un-self aware? he is embarrassing

I liked it when he was in the kitchen trying to find something to shake for his act and the top came off and spilt it everywhere. Made me laff hard! God I need to get over this flue

He has a condition that disables him from instictively sensing social moods etc. All his social awareness is kind of forced rather than natural like you and I, if you know what I mean? it's definitely an issue with self awareness. He's not the only person that has this.
