No it isn't racist, but it's really offencive. She keeps bringing up the fact that he's from Yorkshire all the time. Like the word 'Yorkshire' is a slur.
She thinks he's thick because he's norhtern. ''He talks about binal things like YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS'' ''He's just a Yorkshire pudding'' She is so rude. Why would someone talk about yorkshire puddings all the time just because they are from Yorkshire. Northerners are just benieth her. Obviously.

Mmm, I love Yorkshire puddings. If someone called me one I'd feel complimented, they're tasty!

No but if you call someone a 'Lancashire hot pot' you'd be in trouble.

The trouble is tho, she does mean it as an insult and not a funny remark.

No it's not racist.
That word gets bandied about far too much these days imo, as well as the word bully. However she did mean it as an insult, and it's not the first time she's done this. She also called Isaac a redneck, and a hillbilly, without knowing what either word meant, but she meant it as an insult. She also looks down on Lisa for being on the dole. It seems to me that Queen Bea measures everyone else against her own feeling of self importance. She is most certainly a snob. |

Well I'm from Yorkshire and if someone called me a Yorkshire Pudding I would just laugh. I hate David I think he's an idiot. To use the insult on him might be offensive to because 'pudding' can be meant as an alternative for idiot or stupid.
It's like calling someone fat! To a fat person this is insulting, to a skinny person they would just laugh. |

An Indian or someone from that area of Asia, it could be interpreted that way. Depends on why you're calling them one, if you mean it as an insult when you call it them. Surely to call them it you are digging at their culture/background and it implies a negative insult? |
