I wondered at that. Because bb must have made some sort of decision as to who was wearing what, and so putting Marcus in an elevated position, making him king may have an impact on the impression he gives, making him stand out. Whereas the cards would appear lowly and inconsequential. Of course i'm just having a brain fart, but i wonder if it makes a subconcious impression on us.
