I actually hate it. Tempted not to watch auditions again.

It was stupid in the yes montages they didn't even show them singing.

Same rubbish like it always is, only now they have a BGT style crowd in the background.

I think it was okay, felt a bit like BGT, but it was also good to hear their voices with the music

Hated it.
The show has lost eveything which was good about it. The judges have lost that special spark, the good auditions don't seem as good, the bad auditions don't seem as bad , it all seems all a little boring. The show has lost its identity
I wont be watching any more of these awful audition shows

Agreed. I much prefer the 1-on-4 atmosphere of previous years.

I also don't like how the auditionees had music to perform to, but I suppose that only happened because there's 2,500 extra people to perform in front of now.

I think the crowd was actually quite nice to the acts, only harsh if they deserved it and were very quiet. Still got the reactions I thought we'd lose, quite surprised actually I liked it

you have very poor taste then. as you observe already. the majority here disagree with you. obviously they are right. like myself. and you are quite wrong. the format is okay. the x-factor is excellent. great reality tv.

hate it. it's like bgt but the good thing about bgt's format is it works really well when it's not a singing act and also the buzzers, neither of which apply to txf

Really not sure about it yet, too much like BGT and it didn't seem like we actually got to see very many auditions!

Will stick with it and see how it goes though.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion fgs.

I actually liked it. I think they have a better chance of giving a good overall performance with backing music which I am sure will give most of them more confidence too. I also don't think the audience harms the show in any way at all.

Hated it and I doubt I'll watch until the live shows.
It gives people an unfair advantage, too. For example, Danyl's audition would be no where near as impressive without his backing track.
When emotionally fragile people come on stage it's horrible watching them be ridiculed by thousands of people.

By doing it in front of an audience straight away they wittle down potential talent who are too nervous to audition in front of a massive audience and we'll lose that journey, the mentors helping them to overcome stagefright and encouraging them up to the live shows, rubbish!

If they are emotionally fragile then The X Factor probably isn't best for them. The chances are, they wouldn't be able to cope with the fame and would end up like Susan Boyle.

I'm not a fan, it takes away from the acts really. They shouldn't perform in front of an audience until the Live Stages really.

But at least they're shunted out in a room with 5 people in, they get 3 minutes of fame and leave with only a partially bruised ego soon to be forgotten.
When they're on a stage with a load of jeering chavs laughing at them it's a lot more damaging!

I didn't like it. The whole point of xfactor is to do it stage by stage, first just for the judges, then boot camp etc etc. This to similar to britains got talent. And i don't like the music being played either, i much prefer that they sing with nothing so we can see how they are naturally. Just sh*t it really is, i'm so disappointed.
