Default Noirin and Bea made BB10

I know they're both hated on here but looking back this year was most interesting when they were in the house. It was boring whilst Noirin was still in her shell but got good when she came out of it, and as soon as Bea was shown the door we were back to boring BB again.

They were great housemates, I loved both characters (well loved to hate one of them) and I thought their storylines were riveting. Would have liked them to have spent longer in the house together.

Definitely both great HM's, created lots of controversy, and it's always good to have characters in their that we love to hate!

Every good storyline needs a villian or two!

I found them both boring.

Noirin's storyline got very old very fast, and she was definitely a one-trick pony... just did the same thing with each of the guys throughout her whole time there.

Bea was just miserable and that made for depressing TV. She just became another Lisa and David, sat at the bus stop smoking, in the end.

Well, yeh they provided good stories, but in terms of ongoing storylines/entertainment it seems Marcus and Freddie were seen as the 'main characters' of BB10 based on the poll we did (Freddie just edged Marcus, where together they picked up 2/3 of the votes).

But he gets recognition anyway. One thing that annoys me about Marcus fans is that they're all quick to forget about the time in the house when he did nothing, the time when be turned into creepy stalker pervert and the time when he turned stroppy. He was the most inconsistent housemate this year.

Thats because people liked them, most people wont vote for the "baddies" even if they know deep down it was them that made the interesting stories!!

As much as I detested them, I do have to agree that they made for entertaining telly, even though I wanted to throw something at the screen half the time!

Bea was more entertaining as I thought Noirin had very little to offer in the way of discourse or witticisms- the feature of her stay was to act sullen or cheery, depending on the amount of attention she was receiving. Bea showed much more willingness to engage people on any kind of level which made her more villainous in my eyes. Noirins vile characteristics were instinctive rather than premeditated..... Bea had more of a vindictive quality about her.

The thing is that it was still funny when he was moody because he would still come out with some great quotes

that is the reason i started supporting him

Bea was a silent assassin and was very clever with what she did. I thought watching her was really intriguing. I thought it was fascinating how she started off really nice and using the first impressions, turned vindictive without anyone really realising it. The irony is they still didn't notice it when she went, but faced eviction due to the new rule and begging not to be nominated. She knew exactly what she was doing and new the public wouldn't approve. She was like a low rate Makosi, only not as deluded.

Mmmm, there may be some 'contamination' of the poll in that respect, but my post asks voters to consider 'storylines and entertainment', 'NOT necessarily your favourate HM'.

For example, Freddie's journey through the weeks and mannerisms were indeed seen as the biggest stroyline/entertainment of BB by some; others felt Marcus's charecteristics etc. made him the main character...

Overall, I think BB10 will be most remembered for Freddie, Marcus and Bea.

When a series is on noone votes for the baddies in a positive vote. Yet a year on, we all accept Rex as one of the characters of BB9 whether we loved or hated him at the time, and 4 years on everyone knows BB6 was Makosi's series, despite everyone hating her at the time.

If noirin had stayed much longer I'd have switched off tbh. She was very shallow and very, very dull. Her "storylines" didnt' rivet me AT ALL.
Bea was a miserable, nasty, spoilt bitch and I was glad to see her go. I like a bit of drama etc, but the personalities (and I use that term loosely in Noirins case) that you're talking about here just didn't appeal to me at all. It was the year of the sociopathic narcissist and I hated it. I'd have preferred the BB lineup to NOT have included them tbh, as Freddie, Marcus and Siavash would have been far more interesting without these femme fatales awful, draining, negative (lol!!) influence.

Oh Bea is very deluded. After eviction she was still entirely convinced that every action she took in the house was entirely justified and honourable. My jaw dropped at how incapable she was at understanding how deceitful she had been, flatly refusing to accept that she had been wrong or malicious. Scary scary girl.

Yeh, actually after I posted that, I did think I should have added Noirin...and the whole Isaac thing aswell etc. - the poll has a fair few votes for Noirin

But you need the bad characters to make the good ones shine. I hated Bea and was so glad to see the back of her but anyone who can make people so angry and annoyed has to be thought of as a memorable and "good" character!

Hey don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Makosi, Victor and Rex, but I just couldn't bare to watch Bea and Noirin for a moment longer. And they didn't make the good ones shine. They ripped them apart and ruined them.

They were boring and horrible!

What ever happened to the "fun loving housemates"

I hope the fun factor is brought back next year
