Default Barrymore lost the plot.....

This guy hasn't got clue. ''he is not on this planet'' to use his own words, while he was ripping into Jodie.

''Don't interrupt - just listen to me'' he said, interrupting Jodie....FFS.

Then goes on to say ''You can't slag people off in this business'', when he often slags the media off.

He seems rude, and is very depressed. If he feels like this he shouldn't come on the show.

Simply put, i hope this crettin is voted off soon because he's me off.

Welcome to the forum - can I remind you that swearing is not allowed even with stars in the middle!

That was what went wrong in that situattion,I think Barrymore having just been praised for being able to handle his problems then went power mad on Jodie without thinking. It really wasnt clever, had nothing to do with the discussion going on and was just a paranoid MB shouting at his demons.

I'm getting a bit sick of him now to be honest. The constant mood swings are horrendous. I know that sounds very uncaring, but a part of me thinks it's just wrong for him to be there. He is obviously mentally ill. Should we be using a mentally ill person for our own entertainment?

Its been a dubious choice since he went in.I really didnt think he would.Half of me says he has every right to be there and the other half watches him falling apart with grim fascination.

Its easy for people to knock Barrymore due to his strange behaviour patterns, but none of us truly understand the problems he's faced through years of depression spent in rehab that has clearly taken its toll on the man's state of mind. If people did they would be more sympathetic towards him when confronted with somebody like Jodie Marsh.

Given his mental state its probably best he tactfully withdrew from advising or arguing with Jodie in future.

Given his mental state, I could argue that he shouldn't be in there. It's car-crash TV. I agree with stoney when he says: "the other half watches him falling apart with grim fascination". I watch, but I don't want to.

I find him really difficult to watch, and I truly believe that he will regret this once it's over. He is obviously tormented. I don't claim to know how he feels, but I do have enough compassion for the man to not wish to see him have a Nervous Breakdown on reality TV.

True, but then he would probably need to be in a certain state of mind to realise this fact. That was definatley an argument that was all about him and nothing to do with anything Jodie had said or done.
Oh well off to watch tonights fun and games on e4.Nite all.

Sorry stropz that reply was to andy.Shoulda used a quote

Agree with your points tho.

The only possible positive outcome of this for MB would be for him to win.Anything else and I think he'll count it as a failiure.

welcome to the forum!! Michael regularly loses the plot lol , it's quite clear. Bit of a shame though, they all need some time alone and they can't seem to get it. Even in the diary room, their words will be broadcast. It must be tough.

Well during that argument I spent half of it turned away squeezing my eye lids shut with my face contorted. The last time I found myself doing that was during his Freddie Starr routine. So yes, some of it is painful TV and I have to turn away. However I do still want him to win because I think he deserves it and I hope it will free some of his demons.

But this can only be achieved if Barrymore wins over the public and he still has a long way to go.

He was probably using a tactic used by the shrinks in rehab but it totally backfired. He wanted to make Jodie listen to Pete's advice but it only got her back up. I don't think he was turning the conversation to talk about him at all.

But in any case 3am in the morning is hardly the time to have an in-depth discussion anyway.

Thing is,, the press would have us believe that a lot of the public are against him because of the whole "pool" thing, but that's actually not an issue with me. As far as I'm concerned, that was investigated by the police, and it's over and done with.

My issue with him to be honest is whether he is mentally stable enough to be in there. I would like to see him last the pace, and regain some of his former confidence, but I just don't really see that happening.

He was on the verge of breakdown since he got in there. The first night, when entering the house he was crying and his depressed attitude has really let him down...

Poor guy, is he not still an alcoholic anyway cause maybe that's he's desperately NEEDING to make him feel different or something.
