Default Which Books Do You Keep Rereading?

The books I keep rereading because I always pick up new things and they make me feel good are...
Neuromancer - William Gibson
A amazingly cool book, every paragraph is designed to be cool, I read it every now and again so I can get a clearer picture of what happened
The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy - Douglas Adam
I love this book, even though I know what's going to happen it will still make me laugh out loud on a bus or in the toilet
The Talisman - Stephen King and Peter Straub
A great story which should be made into a film and then universally panned for not being as good as the book
Good Omen - Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
A very funny book which still makes you chuckle no matter how many times you read it. A must for comedy book readers.

I have plenty more, Kafka - the castle, The devine comedy and so on but I've gotta go soon...
how about you?

The Harry Potter books, especially The Half Blood Prince, my personal favourite.
LOTR trilogy.
The Twilight series.

There are more but those come to mind first.

Secret diary of a call girl.

Oh and I forgot the most obvious one - Junky by William S Burroughs - although I don't reread it as such, I have a copy of the audio book read by Burroughs and his voice is perfect for the book. That should still count though.

I have all of Jeremy Clarkson's books.

They are basically all of his columns from the Sunday Times put into one book.

They are absolutely hilarious and everything he writes is SO true.

Also, I re-read Russel Brand's "My Booky Wook" a lot.

seeing as you've grabbed all the beat books I'll add zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance but not fear and loathing as it's too commercial now.

Marley and Me. I cry so much every time. It's quite embarrasing. The first time I read it I was sobbing.

Are you a beat generation fan then? Any particular writers?

I am a man that is obsessed with Neal Cassady.

I know what you are saying about Fear and Loathing (have you noticed a new member called Dr Gonzo?) but Hunters best book will always be Hells Angels.

I would re-read it, but like so many of my good books I force them upon people and then rarely get them back (but then I seem to have loads of other peoples books).

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and The Rum Diary by Hunter s. Thompson. Also, Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.

Great books, give em a go.
