Default This year's crop

... Are so good! (minus J&E depending on personal opinion)

I don't think a series of X Factor has ever been this hard to pick a winner from! Yeah yeah its only week 3 but series three.. I knew Leona would win from the audition stages and Alexandra was always a runner for me from a few weeks in

My contenders for winner... Danyl, Stacey, Lucie, Joe, Olly and maybe Jamie! So many people!!

Who do you realistically think could win?

Its the same at this stage every year

by week 5 we'll clearly have those who can and those who can't win

by week 8 we'll have a clear front runner

Its always the same

Leona was never a clear cut winner. It was always between her, Ben, Ashley, Eaton Road and before the live shows Nikitta, her in the wheelchair, Robert ...

Yeah but for me personally (I'm not suggesting that I am some sort of Simon Cowell) I thought wow she's won it hands down. I was surprised she wasn't favourite to win in the early weeks of the show

Easily the most talented bunch ever. Also quite easily the least interesting. They're all the exact same, bland, pitch perfect, nothing to them, nothing original. I couldnt care less about most of them, Olly is the only one I am remotely passionate about because at least he's a slightly different type of artist. Gutted they're taking him the Leon route tho

It is the same every year though, at the start of the live shows not many would have predicted Leona, Leon and Alexandra to win. There are always a few favourites until about week 7 or 8, and that is the same time when the dark horses emerge too

I agree about Leona. BUt its the only time I knew or sure who would win. From the audition like the OP said, I thought she was waaaay, better than everyoone.
But, I think youve been influenced by this week. Almost everyone was pretty good today, apart from J&E and Lloyd imo. BUt the first 2 weeks, were pretty bad I thought.

Still missing last year's bunch a lot, definitely more likeable and overall more talented that this year's.

However it might always be the same but this year I honestly cannot see a winner yet. Whereas last year it was Laura from early on, then Diana, and then Alexandra by the Semi Final, this year it could literally could be anyone and I can't predict one person yet.

I wouldn't say it's the best year but it's not bad. The auditions ruined this year really. I think the realistic choices for winning are: Lucie (a typical strong singer, she'll get to the final at least), Stacey (she's well loved by the public and does have a lot of talent), Joe (Decent voice, has the 'aw bless' factor) and MAYBE an over could win but as always it'll probably be a younger contestant (as they've won 4 times outta 5).

I think we'd have a completely different final 12 if the format was the same as last years

Worst year ever for me.

I might actually stop watching for the first time ever.
It really doesn't matter who's going to win anyways does it? They'll be just like another Shyane Ward or Leon Jackson; fade into obscurity.

I know, and we're right by the way and I think the producers know it themselves - have a sneaky suspicion that the sound engineering is intentionally horrendous this year in order to drown out their voices.

I think this year is a much better competition because we don't have a clear winner yet.

Realistically it's going to be Stacey, Lucie or Joe who wins it.

The Overs and the Groups are almost always the first categories out though, if that's any indication of how things will go, then I don't think any of Simon's acts are going to win. One might make the final.
