''Guess what, folks, our numbers are dwindling and we are loosing money. As it happens, most of the world's problems now stem from secularism. Please come back to us. Pretty please?''.

I was under the impression that most of the world's troubles stem from lack of resource and, oh say ... overpopulation? A falling population anywhere is good these days.

They complain if people have too many children - they complain if they don't have enough! Damned either way.

In the end - you can't force people to have children they don't want. I guess people's values have changed in that they want a better quality of life - and that often means having successful careers - including women - so they have less children.

It is a matter of choice - and if people do not have religious reasons for wanting lots of children - who is he or anyone else to criticize.

Life is not just about procreation - it is about quality of life as well. We get one life - we have a right to enjoy it.

We should love the people that are already here. If religionists had any sense at all, they would adopt children that are already here and are unloved. Children that need a family and need love. Instead they shit out little cabbages who grow up to be narrow eyed, furrow browed ignorant little bible bashers like they're mommy and daddies, and there only purpose, apparently, is to have more children all over again and tell people how to live their lives.

It's called an opinion, jackass.

If it was an ''I'm right and your wrong'' point of view you could turn the tables and say the exact same thing about the article. Or your post, for that matter.

What an excellent argument. I see you are the newest ''you made a good point, so now I am going to ignore it and post something bizarre'' member of our forum.

And he does it again!

No, because I do brush my hair, simply in reverse. And I don't drink caffeine. More of a chilling guy.

For the record, you should wax your eyebrows, get a vasectomy and take up violin lessons.

Religion doesn't have the monopoly on morality.

Too many people worship themselves these days. The erosion of religion, together with the rise of rampant consumer culture has made a our society increasingly atomised and narcissistic.

Obviously no mention of a humanist perspective there (I didnt expect there would be) Its people that ****ed this world up and ****ed any spiritual and moral thought by the creation of religion itself. And dont come the Christian with us, any moral compass you do have, only extends to your "own"

Couldn't agree more! Well said!

Many a heinous crime has been committed (and still is) in the name of 'religion'!

Rabbi would be your clue word and if you take even a 5 minute journey into cyberspace you would realise how ridiculous your last point is regarding Judaism

People cause trouble. You will find that in any large organisation of people there will be trouble. get enough men together and trouble will follow.

Yes - but they use religion as an excuse to justify their behaviour - they don't really believe - the guise of religion enables them to execute their crimes, free from blame! One big joke!
